Working on raw canvas she mixes her own paints with pigments and acrylic varnishes. Her work plays on different levels of consciousness and sensation. The body of pieces range between representational, figurative minimal work with abstract characteristics. The paintings work on a knife edge of strength and vulnerability and cross reference with her prints as the alter ego of her work. Recent works inspired by Millet's 'Ophelia" explore non tangible truths in humanity such as our relationship with water.
